Fryer Basket
A fryer basket is a kitchen equipment that is used in fry cooking. The baskets are made of wire metal with plastic handles to enable easy handling and avoid burns.
Deep fryer baskets can either be for home use or commercial use in restaurants and other catering establishments. Some frying equipment comes with frying baskets as part of the whole package. These fryers automatically lower or raise the basket into and out of the frying oil. Commercial frying equipment has varied accessories. They feature single or multiple floor fryers, filtration system to filter the used oil, a holding station to hold used oil awaiting disposal and a caster that affords easy cleaning and maintenance.
Basket fryers are made from mild to stainless steel. These are anti-rust, anti-corrosive and long lasting.
Fryers are in most cases made from mild steel or stainless steel. These are preferred because of their anti-rust properties, they do not corrode easily.
Large industries producing deep-fried foods such as chips use automated frying systems that consist of frying pan, heat exchanger, filter, circulation pump, tank for fresh oil and automation system.
